Frequently asked questions
What step should I use?
A step equal to the window size gives windows that touch without overlapping. A smaller step makes them overlap; a step of 1 gives every possible window.
How do I make overlapping peptides?
Set the window to the peptide length and the step to how far each peptide moves along, for example 15 and 5 for 15-mers that overlap by 10.
