How to clean up a DNA or protein sequence

  1. Paste a sequence copied from anywhere, with numbers, spaces or other characters in it.
  2. Choose DNA or protein, and whether other letters are removed or replaced with N or X. For DNA, tick Change U to T to turn RNA into DNA.
  3. Set the letter case and line length. Copy output or Download saves the result.
