How to compress a video for email

1. Click the box above or drop your video onto it. The target is set to 24 MB to leave room under Gmail's 25 MB limit.
2. Outlook.com and some work accounts allow 20 MB; type 19 there if you use one of those.

What are the attachment limits?

Gmail allows 25 MB per email, Outlook.com 20 MB and Yahoo Mail 25 MB.

The video is too long to fit.

Lower the resolution to 480p, or trim it first with Trim Video. For long videos, a shared link from a cloud drive works better than an attachment.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser with FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. The first use downloads the converter (about 30 MB); your file never leaves your device.
