How to Record Your Screen

From your browser, on any computer

1. Open Screen Recorder.
2. Choose whether to record sound and your microphone, then click Start recording.
3. Pick the whole screen, one window or a browser tab. To include a tab's sound, choose the tab and keep its audio option on.
4. Click Stop and download the video. There is no watermark or time limit.

Windows 11

Open the Snipping Tool, switch to the video camera icon, choose an area and click Start. Press Win + Shift + R to start it directly in recent versions. For games, Win + G opens the Game Bar, which records the active window.

macOS

Press Shift + Command + 5 and choose Record Entire Screen or Record Selected Portion. Under Options you can add your microphone. macOS does not record the sound of other apps with this tool.

iPhone and Android

• iPhone: open Control Center and tap Screen Recording. If it is not there, add it: in iOS 18 and later, tap + in Control Center; in earlier versions, go to Settings → Control Center. Long-press it to turn the microphone on.
• Android: open Quick Settings and tap Screen record. The name and options vary by phone maker.

After recording

Cut the start and end with Trim Video, make it small enough to send with Compress Video, or turn a short part into a GIF.
