Frequently asked questions

Is there a watermark?

No. The picture you download has only the text you typed on it.

Can I use my own font?

The list covers the styles that are on almost every device. A font installed only on your computer would not look the same to anyone else, so it is not offered.

Why does my text have an outline?

White text disappears on a pale photo. A dark outline or a shadow keeps it readable over anything; choose None if the background is already plain.

Can I add several lines?

Long text wraps to fit the width. For separate lines in different places, download the picture and run it through again.

What quality is the download?

A JPG at 92% quality, up to 1600 pixels on the long side, which suits anything posted online.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
