Frequently asked questions
Which size do I need?
35 × 45 mm is used in much of Europe and many other countries, and 2 × 2 inches (51 × 51 mm) in the United States. Each authority also sets rules for head size, background and lighting, so check the official requirements for your document before printing.
What resolution is the photo?
300 pixels per inch, the usual quality for photo prints: a 35 × 45 mm photo is 413 × 531 pixels.
How do I print the sheet at the right size?
Print it as a 4 × 6 in (or the size you chose) photo print, with scaling and "fit to page" turned off, so each photo comes out at its exact size. Photo kiosks and online print shops print 4 × 6 in sheets cheaply.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
