How much smaller will my images be?

It depends on the image. Each result shows how much smaller it is than the original, and the total is shown above the list.

JPG or WebP?

WebP files are usually smaller at the same quality, but a few older apps cannot open them. JPG works everywhere.

Can I compress to an exact size, such as under 100 KB?

Yes. Type the limit in Target size (KB) and Quality is chosen for you: the highest that fits. If the image is still too large at low quality, its width and height are reduced as well. The limit is counted in thousands of bytes, so the file is under it however the site you upload to counts.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
