Do these QR codes expire?

No. The link or text is stored in the code itself, not on a server, so it works for as long as the content does.

What does error correction do?

Higher levels let the code scan even when part of it is dirty, damaged or covered by a logo, but make it denser. Medium suits most uses.

Can I track scans?

No. There is no redirect in between, so scans cannot be counted. That is also why nobody can switch the code off.

Why doesn't my code scan?

Keep strong contrast (dark on light) and leave the white border around it. Light-colored codes on dark backgrounds fail on many phones.
