Are my PNG files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
Why convert PNG to JPG?
PNG is lossless and keeps transparency, but photos saved as PNG are large. JPG is the most widely supported photo format and keeps file sizes small, but it has no transparency.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas become white.
