Are my GIF files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
Why convert GIF to JPG?
GIF is limited to 256 colors and is mostly used for simple animations. JPG is the most widely supported photo format and keeps file sizes small, but it has no transparency.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas become white.
Are animated GIFs supported?
Only the first frame of an animated GIF is converted.
