How to compare two PDF files

Does it compare images and layout?

No. It compares the text of the two files, so changes to pictures, fonts, colors or positions are not shown.

Why is no text found?

Scanned documents are pictures of pages, not text. They need OCR (text recognition), which this tool does not do.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
