How to watermark a PDF

1. Click the box above or drop a PDF onto it.
2. Type the watermark, such as CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT, and choose its size, color, opacity and angle. Choose Repeated to cover each page.
3. Click Add watermark and download the watermarked PDF.

Can the watermark be removed?

It is added as text on top of each page. It stops casual copying, but anyone with a PDF editor can delete it, as with any text watermark.

Which characters can I use?

Latin letters, digits and common punctuation. Other scripts, such as Chinese or Arabic, are not supported by the built-in font.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is stored on a server.
