How to flip a coin

1. Click Flip. The coin spins and lands on heads or tails.
2. The totals below count how many times each side has come up.
3. Click Reset to start the count again.

Frequently asked questions

Is it a fair 50/50?

Yes. Each flip uses your device's secure random generator, and heads and tails are equally likely every time, whatever came before.

I got tails five times in a row. Is something wrong?

No. Streaks are normal: five of the same side in a row happens about once in every 16 tries of five flips. Over many flips, the totals get close to half each.
