How to use the stopwatch

1. Click Start, or press the space bar.
2. Click Lap to record a lap. Each row shows the lap time and the total time at that moment.
3. Click Stop to pause and Start to carry on, or Reset to clear it.

Frequently asked questions

Does it keep running if I switch tabs?

Yes. The time is measured from the moment you pressed Start, so it stays right even when the tab is in the background or the screen shows another app.

How accurate is it?

It shows hundredths of a second and measures time with the browser's high-resolution clock. Your own reaction when clicking is the main source of error.
