World Clock
How to use the world clock
- The first card shows your own time; the others show the time now in each city on a live clock that turns dark at night.
- Choose a city under Add a city and press Add. Press ✕ on a card to remove it. Your cities are kept for your next visit.
- Each card gives the date, the UTC offset and how many hours the city is ahead (+) or behind (−) you.
Frequently asked questions
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. The times come from your browser's time zone database, which knows when each place changes its clocks, so the offsets are right in summer and in winter.
When does a card turn dark?
Between 8 pm and 6 am in that city, a rough guide to who is likely to be asleep or off work. It does not follow the real sunset.
How do I compare a time other than now?
Use the Time Zone Converter, which turns any date and time in one city into the time in others.
