How to blur a license plate in a photo

1. Click the box above or drop your photo onto it.
2. Drag a box over the license plate, or over any name, number or sign you want to hide. Add as many boxes as you need.
3. Choose Pixelate, Blur or Black box and the strength, then download the photo.

Frequently asked questions

Which effect hides text best?

A black box removes the text completely. Strong pixelation and blur also make plates unreadable, but very light settings on large, sharp text can leave it partly legible, so check the result at full size.

Can it blur faces too?

Yes. Click Find faces to detect and blur every face in the photo, or drag over them yourself.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so the photo never leaves your device.
