- Choose a voice. Voices in this page's language are listed first; the list shows the voices installed on your device and browser.

Frequently asked questions
Why are the voices different on my phone?
The voices come from your operating system and browser, so Windows, macOS, Android and iPhone each have their own. Chrome and Edge also add online voices, which send the text to Google or Microsoft to be spoken.
Can I download the audio as MP3?
No. Browsers play these voices directly and do not let web pages record them. To save speech, record it with a screen recorder that captures sound.
How do I get more voices?
Add voices in your system settings: on Windows under Time & language → Speech, on a Mac under Accessibility → Spoken Content, and on Android and iPhone in the text-to-speech settings.
