How to play Falling Blocks

1. Press Start. Move the falling piece with ← and →, rotate it with ↑ or X (Z turns it the other way), drop it faster with ↓ and drop it at once with Space. On a phone, use the buttons under the board.
2. Fill a whole row to clear it. Clearing several rows at once scores more.
3. Every 10 rows the level goes up and the pieces fall faster. The game ends when the pile reaches the top. P pauses.

Frequently asked questions

How is the score counted?

One row scores 100 × the level, two rows 300, three 500 and four 800. Dropping a piece faster adds a point per row it falls, or two with Space.

What is the faded piece at the bottom?

It shows where the current piece will land if you drop it now.

Where is my best score kept?

In this browser only. Nothing is sent anywhere, and clearing your browsing data resets it.
