Excel to PDF

Choose a spreadsheet (.xlsx, .xls, .ods, .csv)

How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. Click the box above or drop an .xlsx, .xls, .ods or .csv file onto it. The first sheet appears below.
  2. Choose one sheet or All sheets, the paper size and orientation. Landscape suits sheets with many columns, and wide sheets are shrunk to fit the page unless you untick that.
  3. Press Print or save as PDF, then pick Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF) as the printer. With All sheets, each sheet starts on a new page.

Frequently asked questions

Is my spreadsheet uploaded?

No. The file is read inside your browser with SheetJS, so it never leaves your device.

What is kept from the spreadsheet?

Every cell's value as Excel shows it, including number and date formats, and merged cells. Fill colors, fonts, borders, charts and pictures are not, and formulas print as their last saved result.

A sheet is cut off at the side.

Leave Shrink wide sheets to fit the page ticked and switch to Landscape. Very wide sheets can then get small; printing only the sheet you need helps.
