How to sort lines
- Paste your list into the Input box, one item per line.
- Choose an order: alphabetical, numeric, by length, reversed or shuffled.
- Click Sort, then Copy output.
Frequently asked questions
Are numbers inside text sorted properly?
Yes. Alphabetical sorting treats numbers naturally, so "item 9" comes before "item 10".
How does numeric sorting work?
Each line is sorted by the first number it contains. Lines without a number go last.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The text is processed inside your browser and is never sent anywhere.
